Tulum

We have travelled a bit further south and arrived in Tulum yesterday. It's a hippie mecca. We are staying in town next to a major highway crowded with little bars, shops and restaurants.

Today we borrowed some bikes from the hotel and went to the Tulum ruins and the beach. Possibly paradise!

We made some new friends too!

And now.... Paradise beach

First stop; Playa del Carmen

We arrived at Playa del Carmen yesterday - this place is stunning. We have already entered holiday mode and done nothing but eating, drinking and discovering.

 We walked through our first bit of `jungle` to reach the beach.

And we bumped into our first Mayan ruins...

And then......the Caribbean sea!
